LVP flooring installation in Star, Idaho

Star, on the northwest edge of the valley, is one of the newest housing markets we serve.

Star housing stock

Most Star homes are recent builds with modern open plans, and a growing share are on semi-rural lots. Buyers who moved in during the last few years often replace builder flooring as their first real project, and the ask is almost always for something that handles dogs, gravel driveways, and irrigation-season mud.

Neighborhoods and areas we work in

  • Downtown Star
  • Hidden Springs side
  • State Street corridor
  • River-adjacent subdivisions
  • Star acreage

What the subfloor usually looks like here

Newer framing that dried out through a dry Idaho summer commonly produces seam ridges and localized squeaks. Because Star plans lean open, a small hump at a seam runs a long way visually — we sand or grind ridges rather than hoping the plank hides them.

How we handle subfloor prep

Projects Star homeowners ask us about

  • Durable rigid-core plank through entries, kitchens, and great rooms
  • Mudroom and laundry installs with waterproof performance
  • Stair treads and nosing to match a new main floor
  • Subfloor flatness correction across long open runs

Working in Star

Star is roughly twenty minutes from our Meridian base. Newer subdivisions still under build-out can have construction traffic and restricted parking, so we schedule deliveries early in the day.
